Real Estate

What a home costs in years of work.

Property prices in local currency tell you very little across borders. Expressed against local wages they become comparable: how many years of gross salary a typical home absorbs, and whether spending power and market conditions support buying into it.

Ranked by entry conditions: affordability weighted most heavily, then spending power, growth headroom and inverted risk. Years-of-salary is a derived ratio, not a surveyed price.

Honest limits: the housing pillar is a seed value, so years-of-salary here is an illustrative ratio rather than a measured price-to-income figure. It is directionally useful for comparing markets and should not be read as a valuation. Replacing this with a licensed housing feed is the single biggest upgrade this module could get.
